QTA Code of Fair Competition

By signing up on Qualy, you agree to compete fairly and honestly. Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:


1. Follow All Rules

You will follow all QTA rules and regulations to the best of your ability and in good faith.


2. Accurate Classification

You will class your car accurately, providing truthful and complete information about your vehicle, modifications, and any changes that may affect classification.


3. Driver Requirement

You will be the driver of the car for all lap submissions. Submitting a lap driven by another person—including co-drivers, professional drivers, or instructors—is strictly prohibited.


4. Fair and Honest Competition

You will not engage in any form of dishonest or unsportsmanlike competition, including but not limited to:

This includes pressuring a driver to provide a point-by, refusing to give required point-bys, or driving in an unsafe manner following or after a point-by. You must follow the event organizer's rules for passing (as well as all other organizer rules).


5. Traffic Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that traffic is a normal and unavoidable part of on-track driving, and agree not to pressure, signal, or otherwise attempt to influence other drivers for competitive advantage.


6. QTA Authority

You understand that QTA has the final authority on classification, results, and disciplinary actions regarding any suspected rule violations.


Consequences for Cheating

QTA reserves the right to permanently ban any competitor found to be cheating. Qualy may review submitted laps and supporting video to evaluate compliance with QTA rules and standards of fair competition, and laps associated with unsafe or unsportsmanlike conduct may be disqualified regardless of lap time or points impact.
